KROC ART & MUSIC CLASSES
The Kroc offers several art and music classes, for children and adults. Sign-up today and get creative with us! Must be registered two days before the class starts.
Homeschool Art
Ages: 5 – 8 yrs. | 2nd & 4th Tuesdays
Ages: 9 – 12 yrs. | 2nd & 4th Thursdays
All sessions: January – April | 9:30AM – 10:30AM | Dates vary with age.
Following the Georgia Standards of Excellence in Visual Arts your homeschool student will get to explore their creative side with hands-on experience.
Acrylic Paint Class
3rd Saturday | January – April | Ages 11 – 15yrs
1PM – 3PM
Beginner to intermediate students will learn the basics and some techniques for using acrylic paint. Each class will explore the technique of acrylic painting, a featured artist, practicing painting skills, and more. While there is a prepared lesson prepared for each class, children are free to paint and practice other styles to broaden their painting skills. All supplies will be provided! Any questions students have on painting will be answered. Pre-registration required two days prior to the start of class.

Science & Learning

Saturday Science

This monthly hands-on science class is used as a vehicle for engaging, discovering, and learning through actual experience, not just explanation. Each month, we introduce a new topic for kids, and our classes are designed so that you can begin anytime.

The Community Wing Art Gallery at the Kroc Center provides a venue for area artists and groups to display and sell their artwork. Open daily during business hours, these free exhibitions provide our members and guests the opportunity to experience the creativity found in the Augusta area.
